Student Travel Attractions in Atlanta, Georgia

learn more: About AMT&TAbout Our TeamWhy Us

Travel with your students to the heart of Georgia and enjoy endless fun at the Coca Cola Museum and Six Flags, while munching on greasy comfort food from The Varsity.

Check out a few of our favorite attractions in Atlanta below.

Stone Mountain Park

Just 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta and home to the world’s largest piece of exposed granite, this natural wonderland offers 3,200 acres of excitement for every member of the family. Attractions include the Summit Skyride, a Swiss cable car that takes you to the top of Stone Mountain as well as the Sky Hike, Journey to the Center of the Earth, a Scenic Railroad, Paddlewheel Boat, and the Antebellum Plantation.

CNN Studio Tour

Ever wondered what the inside of a news studio looks like? Take a tour inside Atlanta’s CNN studio and see for yourself. Guests can take a 50-minute CNN studio tour featuring the Control Room, Special Effects studio and Interactive News Desk section.

World of Coca-Cola

Taste over 60 different beverages from around the globe. Experience our thrilling 4-D Theater, and be amazed by a fully-functioning bottling line and take home a free bottle of Coke. Visitors will also see the world’s largest collection of Coke memorabilia.

Six Flags Over Georgia

Six Flags is home to the “Goliath,” and because of its sprawling expanse and towering peaks, it wouldn’t fit inside the park grounds, so we had to run it outside and back. There’s no going back after experiencing the thrill of his twists and turns!

  • Performance opportunity available.

Georgia Aquarium

With more than eight million gallons of fresh and marine water and more aquatic life than found in any other aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium is the world’s largest. With five unique galleries that take you on aquatic adventure around the globe, you are sure to see things you’ve never seen before!
