Willis Tower [formerly the Sears Tower]
A triumph of ingenuity and innovation, Willis Tower “formerly known as Sears Tower” stands tall on the Chicago skyline. Completed in 1973, Willis Tower rises to a height to 1,450 feet and is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Chicago skyline and in the world. Willis Tower is the tallest building in the western hemisphere.
The Skydeck at Willis Tower
Step outside the tallest building in the western hemisphere and the third tallest in the world. At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge’s glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet from Skydeck. Visitors can venture onto the ledges and see everything Chicago has to offer!
